New moon 2010 captured

You might know that 29th Jan 2010 was the day when you could see the biggest moon in the sky with Mars just beside it.

I captured the really huge moon on my camera, which was looking a big lamp post on the street. Really good fun to watch in the clear sky.

 The ghostly picture next to moon is my neighbor's window and not any ghost.

Great beginning of new year 2010

We had a great time in new year. Guddu and Ritu visited us in UK during Christma holiday. We went to London during Christmas and then to Edinurgh in new year.

Timing was great as there was white snow everywhere with temperature plummeting to -5 deg. In fact when we came back some location in Scotland saw around -22deg as well. But luckily it did not happen during our trip.

Dear All,

I reached Chongqing, China on 11th Jan’10 evening and got checked in Somerset . Every thing was pre-arranged nicely.

Somerset is an international chain of serviced residence. It is just like a five star hotel but at the same time it is a furnished residence with all modern facilities such as magnetic oven , all kitchen appliances, cutlary, fully automatic washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, large size LCD TV, DVD player, 24 hr cable as well as wi fi internet system, swimming pool, zym, dance hall, sauna rooms and what not. It is 55 storeyed building and i am at 21 st floor. All put togetter on rent of only Rs 1.5 Lakh per year.

Chongquing is one of the largest cities in world ( 3crores population) and is amazingly beautiful.. I have taken lot of videos which i will show when i reach india.

Actually we are not well informed about China. China has progressed so much on last twenty years that India will take at least hundred years to reach that level. I have not seen USA but saw EUROPE. There is no match. It looks very clear that Europe is only heritage whereas China is newly built modern city.

I saw Air Ports of KUNMING, CHONGQUING, CHANGSA which are not best of China but still they are at least 20 times bigger than our Mumbai airport. At any point of time not less than 50 flights are in scheduled display.

Hotels, roads, Metro railway , supper markets , malls all look amazingingly big and beautiful. People look good, courtseous and very well dressed all the time.

Language is a little problem. younger people know English a little.

Girls are having more employment than boys.

Most important and interesting thing is that work force is far younger than in India. More than 80% working persons are between 20 to 35 years. It seems older people have been forcibly retired. I have rarely found +50 person. people have reached to top management at around 40 years.
